DEMESYS stands for Digital Electronic Medical Enhancement SYStem. Doctors use a hand held digital recorder to dictate their notes and letters. They then place the recorder in a docking station and the voice files are automatically sent to our secure servers. Transcribers access the voice files through DEMESYS and create Word documents from the audio files. When the transcription is complete, doctors and office staff log onto DEMESYS to view the completed documents. They can then make changes, print, fax, and e-mail the files. They can also listen to the original audio file.
